日本教の本質

学者の小室直樹氏は日本教の本質について、テレビで次のように語っています。

１．世界の多くの宗教はドグマ（教義）と行動規範を持っているが、日本教はドグマをもっていない。

日本教は行動規範をもっていない。

２．世界の多くの人は遊ぶことが好きで、労働が嫌い。

その証拠に罰として、労働を課している。

それに対し、日本人は労働が好きである。

西洋の神話では神が労働することはないが、日本の神話では神が労働している。

３．物事は独裁よりも合議によって決定されることが多い。合議とは空気、雰囲気のようなものである。しかし、これが物事を決定していく。これが全体を拘束していく。

表面的には独裁国家のように見えていても、実は合議によって、物事が決定されることが多い。

例えば、織田信長、徳川家康、明治天皇は独裁者のように単独で決定しているように見えても、実は重臣たちの合議によって、物事を決定している。

４．日本人の考え方は古来より、神仏中心ではなく、人間中心であった。

神仏のために、人間があるのではなく、人間のために神仏が存在すると考えた。

これに対し、西洋のキリスト教では中世までは人間が中心ではなく、神が中心であった。

５．日本人はドグマと行動規範を持っていないので、

どんな文化も宗教も形として、受け入れ尊重する。

しかし、それに対し、心酔はしない。

６．以上のことは個人のことを言っているのではなく、

日本人の総意について、言っているのである。

私の感想・理解

１．日本人の心は水のようなものである。

だから、改良性はあっても独自性はない。何にも染まる傾向がある。

これにはメリットとデメリットがある。

良く染まれば良いが、悪く染まると悪くなってしまうリスクが存在する。

良く染まれば良き日本人、良き日本国になるが、悪く染まると悪い日本人、悪い日本国になる。

２．日本人は外圧に支配されやすい。

外圧によって、全体主義国家にも民主主義国家にもなりうる。

３．日本人は物まねがうまい。

だから、外来の文化、農業技術、工業技術をすぐ吸収してしまう。

４．日本文化は混合文化である。

だから、これだというような独自性は少ない。

宗教的には一神教ではなく、多神教である。

神仏混合であって、さまざまな宗教が並存している。

文化の面でも、多種多様である。

ありとあらゆる商品が氾濫している。

５．日本人が労働が好きなのは気候の変化が激しい中で農耕社会になったのと関係があるように思える。

なぜなら、気候の変化が激しいと、勤勉でなければ、農作物を収穫できない。

みんなと協力しなければ、農村は成り立たないので、集団主義にならざるを得ない。

したがって、古来から個人主義は育ちにくかったと思われる。

また、周囲の人が遊び人を許さなかったように思える。

今後、日本人はどうしたら良いか？

小室直樹氏は次のように語っている。

『真のキリスト教精神を学ぶべきである。』

私の理解。

キリスト教の本質である『自由・平等・博愛』の精神をわがものとし、世界に貢献することに努める。

The essence 1 of the Japanese religion

Komuro Naoki of the scholar says as follows on TV about the essence of the Japanese religion.

1. A lot of religion in the world has dogmatism ( the tenet ) and a conduct code but the Japanese religion doesn't have dogmatism.

The Japanese religion doesn't have a conduct code.

2. It likes for a lot of persons in the world to play and it dislikes labor.

It imposes labor on the evidence as the punishment.

It faces to that and the Japanese like labor.

In the myth in the Western countries, the god never works but in the myth in Japan, the god is working.

3. It is more often than dictatorship's fixed by the consultation in the things.

The consultation is like the atmosphere.

However, this fixes things.

This restricts the whole.

Even if it is possible to be seen like the dictatorial state like a surface, things are often actually fixed by the consultation.

For example, Oda Nobunaga, Tokugawa Ieyasu, the Emperor Meiji fix things actually by senior statemen's being consulted on even if he, he, he seem to be independent like the monocrat and to decide.

4. The way of thinking of the Japanese was not a gods and Buddha center from the ancient times and was a human center.

It thought that there was not a human being for the gods and Buddha and that the gods and Buddha existed for the human being.

On the other hand, in the christianity in the Western countries, until the Middle Ages, the human being was not a center and the god was a center.

5. Because the Japanese don't have dogmatism and a conduct code, it respects religion in the acceptance as the form about any culture.

However, it faces to that and there is not heart 酔.

6. It isn't saying an individual and as for the consensus of the Japanese, it is saying above thing.

My comment and understanding

1. The heart of the Japanese is like water.

Therefore, improve-ability doesn't have originality even if there is it.

To be dyed any tends.

There are a merit and a demerit in this.

It should dye well but the risk which has been made bad exists when dyeing badly.

The good comes if dyeing well, the Japanese, the good come and become Japan but become bad Japanese, bad Japan when dyeing badly.

2. It is easy for Japanese to be dominated by the external pressure.

With the external pressure, it is possible to become a totalitarian state house and a democracy house.

3. The Japanese are clever at mimicking.

Therefore, it has absorbed a foreign culture, an agricultural technology, an industrial technologies at once.

4. The Japanese culture is a mixing culture.

Therefore, there is little originality which is this.

Religiously, it is not monotheism and it is to be polytheistic.

It is gods and Buddha mixing and a wide range of religion exists.

In the aspect of the culture, it varies.

All the product is flooding in case of being.

5. It seems as that the Japanese like labor is related to becoming agrarian society in that the change of the climate was intense.

Because, if not diligent when the change of the climate is intense, the crops can not be harvested.

If not cooperating with all, because the farm village doesn't stand up, it cannot help becoming a group principle.

Therefore, it seems to have been difficult from the ancient times for the individualism to grow up.

Also, it seems as the person around didn't permit a playboy.

In the future, the Japanese are good if they do how or? Komuro Naoki says as follows.

" It should learn a true Christian mind " The understanding of me

It makes an effort to make the mind of " the liberty, equal and the philanthropy " which is Christian essence my one and to contribute to the world.
