韓国での観光

商売にもいろいろな方法がある。

友人とともに韓国に観光にいく機会を得ました。

慶州やソウル等を見てまわるプランでした。

慶州では世界遺産に指定されている仏国寺や古墳公園を見ましたが、

建築や環境等がとても日本の奈良時代のそれに似ています。

中国文化が韓国を通じて日本に渡ってきたことを実感したのでした。

その後、私達は慶州を離れ、湖のほとりにあるホテルに宿泊しました。

翌朝、朝食まで時間があるので友人と４人で湖のほとりまで、散歩することにしました。

ホテルからのゆるやかな道を下る途中で、向こうから美しい韓国の女性がジョギング姿でやってきました。 女性はジョギングをやめ私達に日本語で話しかけてきました。

女性：日本の方ですか？

私達：そうですけど。 何か？

女性：よろしかったら、写真をお撮りしますけれど。

私達：どうも有り難う。

私達は親切な人がいるものだと、私達のカメラで写真を撮ってもらいました。

女性：散歩でしたら、向こうに見える五重の塔をご案内しますよ。

私達：それは、どうも。

私達は女性の案内で五重の塔やその周りの舞台などを見学しました。

韓国舞踊がたびたび、ここの舞台で演じられるとのことでした。

ここでも、塔と舞台を背景に女性に写真を撮ってもらいました。

友人：これだけ親切にしてもらったんだから、チップをあげなければいけないな。

私達は今度は湖の方に歩いていきました。

その途中で女性が言いました。

女性：実はそこに安い土産物店があるのですが、寄っていただけませんか？

私達は親切にしてもらったので、女性から誘われるまま、小さな土産物店に入ったのでした。

驚いたことに私達が入ったとたん、母親らしき人が4人分の熱いお茶を出してきたのでした。 ジョギングの女性はその母の娘で店の店員もしているのでした。

私達は親切にしてもらい、お茶も飲んだので、何か買わなければいけないなという気分になっていました。

どうせ、何処かで土産物を買わなければならないと、私達はそれぞれに人形とか置物とかを購入したのでした。

朝食の時間が迫ってきましたので、湖には行かずにホテルに戻りました。

戻る途中で、ホテルから散歩する日本人の別のグループとすれ違いました。

ホテルの入り口でふと、後ろを振り返ると何とさっきのジョギングの女性が、私達とすれ違ったグループに話しかけているではありませんか。

そして、その女性がグループの写真を撮ってあげているのでした。

私達は「あのグループは私達と同様、土産物を買うことになるだろう」と、笑ってしまうと同時に、その韓国人の母、娘の商魂に感心してしまいました。

There are many ways in business.

I had a chance to go sight-seeing in Korea with friends of mine.

We had a plan to see Kyongju, Seoul, etc. In Kyongju, I saw a temple in world inheritances and an ancient tomb park.

They are similar to Japanese buildings or so in Nara era of Japan.

I felt from my heart that Chinese culture came to Japan via Korea.

After that, we stayed a hotel near a lake apart from Kyongju.

Next morning, friends of mine (3 persons) and I decided to take a walk as we had a time till breakfast.

While we were going on downward slope, a beautiful Korean lady was coming to us jogging. She stopped jogging and asked to us.

Lady: Are you Japanese ?

We: Yes, we are. What ?

Lady: May I take your picture, if you please ?

We: Thank you, very much.

We was taken a picture by her. We thought she was a kind lady.

Lady: If you take a walk, I would like to guide that five-storied pagoda.

We: Thank you.

We were guided a five-storied pagoda ,a stage, etc.

She said there are some festivals of Korean dances in this stage.

A friend of mine: I think we had better tip her as we took a kindness.

While We were going to a lake, she said to us.

Lady: Please enter in a cheap souvenir shop there.

As we took a kindness, we entered in a small souvenir shop.

To my surprise, when we enter in the shop, a woman like mother offered 4 cups of hot tea at once.

Lady of jogging was a daughter of her mother and was a sales-clerk of the shop.

We felt we had to buy some things because we took a kindness.

We bought some dolls and ornaments.

Time to take a breakfast came, we were going to the hotel.

While we were going to the hotel, we came across another group from the hotel.

I looked back casually when we entered the hotel.

That lady were asking to that another group. And she took a picture of the group.

We laughed each other that the group members will buy souvenirs.

And we were deeply impressed to a business spirit of the Korean mother and a daughter.
